Response Surface Optimization and Floc Structure Analysis of Magnetic Flocculation Technology for Anaerobic Digestion Reject Water

In order to improve the removal efficiencies of SS and Fe3+ in anaerobic digestion reject water for subsequent biological treatment process, on basis single factor test early stage, response surface method was used, structure formed floc analyzed by magnetic flocculation. The optimum amounts powder, polyaluminum chloride (PAC) polyacrylamide (PAM) were 40.51 mg/L, 31.31 mg/L 4.05 respectively. At this time, 97.84% 98.35%. effects particle size, scanning electron microscopy, infrared spectroscopy two-dimensional fractal dimension flocs flocculation ability showed that: compared with conventional coagulation, average size treated 76.56 μm, Fe-O-Al absorption peak appeared at 984 cm−1, significantly improved, rough porous, dense, sedimentation performance improved also.
